Questions about our WORKSHOPs

YOU!  Our events were designed for ALL women.  It doesn't matter what stage of life you are in, your means of income, or how much money you have in the bank. ALL women should have access to financial education. If you want to learn and enjoy the company of other like minded women, please join us! 

Our events are COMPLIMENTARY and NO OBLIGATION events. All our presenters are providing a complimentary service for the event.  Because of this we do allow our presenters to set up booths and/or handout promotional items at select events.  You will never be pitched by anyone but we do ask you to go by and say hi.  Our partners are all women business owners, local professionals or they are businesses that support women.  So don't be shy, we want to keep our community strong! 

A LOT!  You are one of the lucky ones that have benefits through work!  However, there is much more to helping create a secure financial plan than just employer benefits.  We also have a lot of workshops that help outline a bit more of what it means to have those employer benefits and how to make them work best for you.  The best plans take into consideration ALL options available to you, you are lucky your options are broader with your employment options added in! 

We are here as a community to help fellow women.  We are not here to take the place of your current advisor.  And that goes for our guest speakers that are equally volunteering their time.  We are here to help guide women by educating them on what their options are.  At times you may hear things that you haven't heard or thought about before.  We want all women to feel like they are making the right decisions for themselves and sometimes that could end up being that you found out you are already doing just that.  

If you cannot make an event that you registered for, please contact us at contact@hersliceofthecake.com to cancel.  We appreciate your corporation in this policy because someone else might be hoping to get a spot!

If there is a lot of interest in an event that is full, we will most likely repeat the session on another date and you will have first chance to RSVP.

Along with our financial events, we will be doing quarterly networking and "get to know us" events. These are great for women who are not looking for money lessons but would still like to be involved.
